As a part of the Stewarding Team, you’ll be working within a large team to ensure the smooth and safe running of the event by being the eyes and ears of our Control Team, following procedures at all times. Your primary responsibility will be to report via radio any area of concern you see to the control team, who will then make decisions on what should happen next. Full training will be offered to equip you, and you’ll always be paired up with another volunteer.  

Some roles can be static, such as stewarding key access points like the back stage area, and others mobile, such as foot patrol or parking which involves directing traffic entering and leaving the site, as well as parking cars in a manner that ensures the safety of pedestrians and campers and best utilises the available space. You’ll be on your feet for a large part of the day, interacting with people, and keeping your eyes open for areas of concern. 

The Stewarding Team is one of our biggest teams, and often one of the last to fill. If you have any skills within this area, please consider applying for this team.
